David Lubell has helped Atlanta’s most recognizable brands build
long-term, valuable, and profitable relationships with consumers through
social media. David has received awards and accolades including but
not limited to Cox Radio’s highest achievement for non-traditional radio
(internet marketing and promotions) marketing for his work with McDonald’s,
Coca-Cola, Verizon Wireless, General Motors, and many more. His keen
sense and understanding of how to best marry traditional and new media
allowed him to help launch HalfOffDepot.com in 2009. Similar to
Groupon, Half Off Depot was one of the first group buying sites of its
kind in the Atlanta market. Its revenues and number of deals sold keep
it amongst the top overall producers in its competitive space. Within
18 months Lubell and his team were able to expand Half Off Depot into 33
markets and grow revenues to more than 6.5 million dollars. Today
Lubell acts as Vice President of Social Commerce for Cumulus Media, the
2nd largest radio operator in the U.S., and acts in advisory capacity
for YouGetWeGive.com, an Asheville based group buying site that donates 10% of all of its revenue to local charities.
